A colorful mural painted on a brick building featuring abstract wave-like patterns in shades of green, purple, orange, blue, and yellow. The mural includes the words "Power of" and decor includes butterflies and pink flowers at the bottom right corner. There are street signs and light fixtures in front of the building.

Project Overview
This project is a supergraphic wall created for the Human Services Department at Joliet Junior College. The goal was to design something welcoming, peaceful, and reflective of the values of human services—connection, support, and growth.

Super Graphic

The main challenge was creating flowing lines that felt connected and intentional without overwhelming the viewer. I also struggled to find a typeface that felt grounded and readable without looking disconnected from the design.

I focused on building smooth, continuous lines that guide the viewer’s eye across the composition while maintaining balance and clarity. For typography, I selected Arial Rounded MT Bold, which adds a sense of strength and approachability while staying easy to read. The final design combines movement and calm visuals to create a space that feels both engaging and welcoming.

The design reflects the mission of human services by visually representing connection and support in a way that feels accessible and inviting to everyone who enters the space.
