Project Overview
The Cosmic Algorithm is a super graphic based on the concept Order in Motion, created for the math department of Joliet Junior College. The design explores the connection between mathematical structure and creativity, combining cosmic visuals with everyday academic elements.

The biggest challenge was finding the right placement for the astronaut and balancing the secondary elements without cluttering the composition. I also struggled with choosing a background color that would support both the motion and the overall depth of the design.

Through multiple iterations and feedback, I refined the layout by carefully positioning the astronaut to guide the viewer’s eye across the composition. I introduced elements like a calculator, notebook, and pencils to connect the concept more directly to students. The final color choice adds depth while keeping the design vibrant and cohesive.

The final design blends imagination with structure, showing how math exists both as a precise system and a creative exploration. It creates a sense of movement while still feeling grounded and relatable.
